H2O Preview Night

5th graders!  On Wednesday, May 23, you and your parents are invited to an H2O Preview night!  You will get to observe and participate in a youth service, worship together, and glimpse into what you can expect for next year. 

• Dinner - 6:00-6:30 in commons
• H2O - 6:30 - 8:00 in youth auditorium
• Meet and Greet the Pastors - 8:15 - ???

 It would be great for every 5th grader to come and check out H2O and meet Pastor Jon and Pastor Mat.  Please RSVP so we can order food for you!  RSVP at kids@journeykids.net or 262-694-3300.

Servolution Saturday

On Saturday, June 2nd from 8:30am-noon you and your family will have an opportunity to serve KFA and the community. Meet at KFA @ 8:30am in the Children's Wing for a quick orientation. Then off to your project.

You can choose from the following projects:
*City of Kenosha Clean Water Project (Family Friendly)

*Nursing Home Visits (Family Friendly)
*Grounds Work and More @ KFA
*Yard/Home Work for the Elderly and Widows

Parenting Seminar - "Relational Tools for Family Success

Could your parenting use a tune-up?  Kids driving you crazy?  Let us help!

Journey Kids is hosting "Relational Tools for Family Success" from the National Center for Biblical Parenting for a parenting seminar on June 8, 6:30 - 9:00 PM.  Save the date!  You will not want to miss it!

Topics will include things like: "How to Get Your Child to Accept 'No' as an Answer" and "Honoring Each Other vs. Selfishness"

2012 Take the Lake Family 5K Run/Walk

The Children and Family Ministry of Kenosha First Assembly will be holding a “Take the Lake” 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, June 16th at Lake Andrea in Pleasant Prairie, WI. All proceeds from this event will help with the many community service projects we get involved in across the country.

The race is open to all families in both running and walking categories. The registration fee is $25 per racer if registered by June 3rd. After June 3rd the fee is $30. Children 12 and under are FREE. Each paid and registered person will receive a FREE t-shirt. To be guaranteed a T-shirt, participants need to register by June 3rd.

Race day registration and runner’s packets may be picked up from 7:00 -7:30 am., in the Rec Plex Field House 9900 Terwall Terrace Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158. The race will start at 8am.

Journey Kids Summer Camp

Come August 13th-17th to Spencer Lake in Waupaca, WI.
